About Us

I spent 12 years as an active duty Army medic. Afterward, I became a nurse and started working at a civilian hospital. When veterans passed under my care, I would personally ensure that the body was given its Final Salute and honored by draping the veteran in the American flag. I inquired if this was something my hospital did, because I know it is common place in the VA hospitals. It is not. So I formed this nonprofit in order to partner with civilian hospitals to help them establish the policies and procedures needed to have an Honor Walk Program. Currently, we have helped 5 major hospitals in the Tacoma/Seattle area establish Honor Walk programs. Our goal is to reach every civilian hospital in Washington state and beyond. 

Our mission is to ensure every veteran receives a flag draped honor walk when they pass. We are working with multiple hospitals and have helped establish policies and protocols to ensure this happens. We are constantly expanding to new hospitals to help them establish this tradition.
